If I was Invisible
If I was invisible for only one day
Oh the things I’d do and the tricks I’d play.
I would hop on my bike and go to the shops
And help myself to sweets and fizz pops
I’d play tricks on my brother
Which would annoy my mother
I’d play tricks on my dad,
Boy, he’d be mad!
If I was invisible for only one day,
Those are the tricks that I’d like to play.

Shipwrecked
The fresh mountain air
Blew through my tangled hair
It made me think of the wild sea
And how I love to be free
Though my mom and dad are not here
I do not want to draw a tear
Even though I am all alone
They are as near to me as if I was at home
I spy a pod of whales as they swim into the bay
And hear distant cries of gulls looking for prey
The scent of the green forest adds to the scene
Completed by the spider monkeys and their playful screams
I started to think about my empty tummy
The sound coming from it sounded quite funny
I knew that the one thing that I really missed the most
Was the juicy taste of my mom’s crispy roast!
