I have to say that I was completely blown away by the standard of the oral presentations today. From the killing of dolphins in Japan to the devastating oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, every speaker was convincing and passionate about her topic and it was so interesting to listen to what they all had to say. At one point, I even had tears in my eyes because there seemed to be such a deep understanding of such complicated and devastating issues at such a young age!
I can see that a lot of thought, time and effort has been put into these orals and it is an absolute pleasure to sit and listen to them. I am amazed at how well the girls know their way around a Smart Board, and we have seen some brilliant PowerPoint Presentations so far. We are all learning a great deal and it is interesting to hear how the girls feel about the affairs that take place around the world.
